Junior Accountant - Head Office, Cape Town

We require an ambitious, responsible and self‑motivated individual to fill the following vacancy that exists at our Head Office in Cape Town.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

Self‑starter and motivated

Ability to manage multiple activities, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks

Logical reasoning and analytical ability

Excellent knowledge of MS Word and Excel (advanced)

Must be able to work overtime when necessary

Team player

Responsibilities

Processing and analysis of data

Reconciliations of various accounts

Perform general accounting functions

Review allocations of AP transaction allocations

Preparation of Sales and Management reports

Preparation of statutory returns

Other requests in line with the operational requirements of the business
