ELECTRICIAN TECHNICIAN Bellville, Cape Town Market Related We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the
agricultural sector , specialising in
feed-conveying and related farm/production machinery . We're looking for a hands‑on Electrician Technician who can keep industrial agricultural systems running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on industrial agricultural machinery.
Perform fault‑finding on control panels, motors, drives, sensors, and automated systems.
Work with and support
PLC and HMI systems
for machine control and diagnostics.
Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Test machinery after repairs and ensure safe, reliable operation.
Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance reports and job cards.
Minimum Requirements
Matric with Mathematics .
Trade Certificate
(Electrician / Electrical Technician).
Light Current Qualification
(advantage / required).
PLC / HMI experience
essential.
4 to 5 years post‑trade experience
in a similar role.
Proven experience in a
manufacturing environment .
Must have worked on
industrial machinery
previously.
Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
Language proficiency:
English and Afrikaans.
