Job Title: Concrete Foreman

Location: Woodstock, Western Cape

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Foreman to oversee and coordinate all concrete-related operations on-site for a dynamic construction company based in Woodstock. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of concrete work, proven leadership abilities, and a track record of delivering quality work on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily concrete activities on-site, including formwork, pouring, curing, and finishing.

Lead and manage a team of concrete workers, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.

Interpret construction drawings and specifications related to concrete structures.

Monitor the use of materials and equipment, ensuring minimal waste and efficient usage.

Liaise with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and execution.

Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of health and safety on-site.

Report progress, delays, or issues to the site manager or project manager.

Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric (relevant tertiary or technical qualifications advantageous).

Minimum of

5 years’ experience

in a similar role within the construction industry.

Proven experience in managing concrete works (foundations, slabs, columns, retaining walls, etc.).

Strong understanding of concrete mixes, formwork systems, and curing processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
