Information Technology Business Relationship Manager, Cape Town

Client Partner/ Business Relationship Manager : Key Skills / Experience Required: The candidate needs relevant experience in engaging with senior leadership or decision-makers within the insurance sector, which is a critical requirement for this position. The presence of exposure to key technology domains such as software development, ERP, cloud migration, cyber security, digital transformation, and consulting is required for roles demanding a broader IT services perspective. Needs to demonstrate the ability to deliver value-based sales pitches and build relationships with executives in the BFSI and insurance domains.

Experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance domain customers

Experience in directly delivering large IT transformation programs to customers

Involvement in co-creating technical solutions, project implementation plan, steering committees and Change management.

Good understanding about engineering principles such as automation, DevOps, Quality engineering, software development.

Very good understanding of software lifecycle and different delivery methodologies

Advanced project delivery including all aspects of program/project management

Experience working as a senior client/account management in a professional IT services/consulting organization to include managing an account P&L of>$5 Mn.

Demonstrated experience driving accelerated growth of 20% Y-o-Y or greater

Proven track record of delivering business solutions and outcomes leveraging technology

Experience operating at CXO level, and ability to demonstrate excellent client relationships

With an empathetic approach, ability to respond to the needs of stakeholders

8+ years technology experience involving entire SDLC lifecycle

8+ years in solution-based sales– helping identify and drive solutions for clients

Advanced project delivery including all aspects of program/project management

Previous P&L responsibilities

Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully across all levels of the organization

Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Proven track record of client/employee satisfaction
