HP Printer Engineer, Cape Town

is looking for a HP Printer Engineer. The role focuses on delivering efficient, secure, and scalable printing and document solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives. 
The specialist acts as a technical subject matter expert for Managed Print Solution technologies and tools, while also supporting pre-sales activities and solution design in 
collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Key Performance Area's 
Design, implement, and maintain Managed Print Service solutions across diverse client environments. Stay up to date with new technologies and drive feature enhancements where applicable. Implementation and management of document workflow solutions Deploy, configure, and manage print management software, including Papercut MF, Papercut Hive, HP Access Control, and PrinterLogic.  Support HP Web JetAdmin, HP Security Manager, and HP Smart Device Services (SDS) deployments; ensure all network agents remain online and functional.  Manage and maintain print fleet monitoring using necessary tools/applications available Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for printer hardware, firmware, and software issues.  Communicates (orally or in writing) feedback and technical information to all levels of end-users and customer IT management.Compulsory required certifications and Experience Matric \ Grade 12 (Compulsory) Proven experience with Papercut (Technical and Sales Certified – essential). Experience with HP Web JetAdmin, HP Security Manager, HP Advance, HP Park, and HP Smart Device Services (SDS) (advantageous). Working knowledge of MS SQL for reporting and database management. Experience with FMAudit for device monitoring and meter collection. Strong understanding of HP printers and multifunction devices. Project Management experience or formal certification (advantageous). ITIL v4 Foundation certification or equivalent understanding of IT service management processes (advantageous).
