Job Description

A leading client is seeking an experienced Regional General Manager to lead and grow its advisory network while driving sales performance across investment, insurance, and related financial products. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong leadership capability, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to cultivate long-term Independent Financial Advisor relationships.

Responsibilities:

Manage and expand existing Independent Financial Advisor relationships. Identify, establish, and onboard new advisor partnerships. Drive sales performance across investment, insurance, and related product lines. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Management and Servicing Consultants. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth. Deliver exceptional client service through proactive and innovative solutions. Execute sales strategies aligned to business objectives and performance targets. Ensure compliance with governance, legislative, and audit requirements. Monitor channel performance, costs, and overall portfolio growth opportunities.

Requirements:

Relevant degree in Commerce or a related field. Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification. RE5 qualification. Relevant Class of Business training. Minimum of 10 years’ experience within the financial services industry. Proven sales and management track record. Experience working with Group Risk, Individual Life, and Investment products. Strong relationship-building and team leadership skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a client-centric approach. Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability. Willingness to travel locally.
