Electrician (George, Western Cape), Cape Town

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and fault finding across project and
  client sites
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring systems, distribution boards, circuit breakers, lighting,
  and associated electrical infrastructure
• Perform cable pulling, cable terminations, cable jointing, and containment installations
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical layouts
• Conduct inspections, testing, diagnostics, and fault-finding activities to ensure system
  reliability and compliance
• Support project teams with site execution, installation quality, and technical
  troubleshooting
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with electrical regulations, safety standards,
  and company procedures
• Liaise with site supervisors, project teams, and clients where required
• Maintain tools, equipment, and site housekeeping standards
• Travel to project sites and work away from home where required

Requirements

• Trade Test Electrician (essential)
• Wireman's Licence advantageous
• Valid driver's licence (essential)
• Strong electrical installation and maintenance experience within commercial environments
• Experience working on buildings, commercial installations, infrastructure, or similar project
  environments
• Solid fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Reliable, hands-on, and able to work independently or within a team
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
