Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Technologist or in a position to register Must have at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in the consulting engineering sector, which should include FMCG, Building Services and Industrial Engineering ExperienceMust be competent with fire protection, wet services and HVAC systems designs Must have experience with successfully completing rational fire assessments on new and existing buildings in the building services sector Must have detailed knowledge of engineering activities required for consulting, engineering services, EPCM and EPC contractsMust have a broad understanding of, and have interacted with other design engineering disciplines, i.e., Process, Civil/Structural, Instrumentation, and Electrical Must have strong leadership and management skills in managing project teams Must have experience in the compilation and submission of tenders and proposals for procuring consulting engineering workMust be prepared to travel within and outside RSA borders
