Financial Controller, Cape Town

A very well established and stable entity is looking to build a younger management team to take the company in a new direction with new processes and ways of thinking. This role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end financial operations and partnering with executive stakeholders to turn financial insights into business strategy

What you will be doing:

Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, payroll, and revenue recognition

Lead month-end and year-end close processes ensuring accurate financial reporting

Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships

Consolidate budgets and monitor performance against forecasts

Deliver executive-level reporting packs with financial insights and trends

Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and compliance frameworks

Oversee tax compliance, statutory filings, and audit processes

Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members and managers

Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and business performance
