Job Summary
The Thought Leadership Content Writer will develop and produce high‑quality, insight‑driven content that reinforces MRI Software’s authority and differentiation across global proptech. The role translates MRI’s brand narrative and platform strategy into compelling written content across a range of formats, supporting broader thought leadership, campaign andpipeline objectives.Responsibilities
Long‑form&flagship content: research, write, edit high‑quality thought leadership pieces such as white papers, industry reports, guides, executive articles; translate complex topics (AI, proptech trends, platform innovation) into clear narratives; produce proprietary research narratives; ensure all flagship content meets brand, quality&messaging standards. Always‑on&short‑form content: maintain a steady cadence of blog posts, opinion pieces, social‑ready copy, and digital content aligned to the thought‑leadership calendar; adapt long‑form content for distribution across LinkedIn, email, web; support campaign content needs by developing messaging, copy, and assets across the buyer journey; contribute to email nurture content, landing‑page copy and campaign messaging with Demand Generation.Cross‑functional collaboration: collaborate with PR to support media and analyst engagement goals; work with Social Media and Campaign teams to optimise distribution and amplification; engage subject‑matter experts, product managers and regional stakeholders to source insights and validate content accuracy.Content quality&governance: ensure all content adheres to MRI’s brand voice, tone guidelines and messaging frameworks; apply consistent editorial standards across all outputs; participate in content review processes and incorporate feedback; maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of MRI’s product portfolio and key market narratives.Planning&process: manage personal content pipeline and deadlines across multiple concurrent projects; maintain visibility into content status through shared tracking tools and editorial calendars; flag capacity constraints, blockers or quality risks proactively to the Director of Thought Leadership; contribute to continuous improvement of workflows, briefing processes and production practices.Measurement&optimization: track performance of published content against defined KPIs (engagement, reach and downstream impact); apply data and audience insights to refine content approach; provide regular input to reporting on content effectiveness and contribute to strategic content planning discussions. Qualifications&Experience
3–6 years of experience in content writing, copywriting or editorial roles, ideally within B2B SaaS, enterprise software or technology sectors. Demonstrated ability to write long‑form thought leadership content (white papers, research narratives, executive articles) to a professional standard.Experience writing for senior business audiences and translating technical or complex concepts into clear, credible narratives. Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content optimisation. Exposure to content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and marketing automation platforms an advantage.Experience supporting executive content or ghost‑writing preferred; knowledge of the real estate, proptech or enterprise software sector advantageous. Exceptional written communication skills with a strong command of tone, structure and clarity. Ability to write in multiple voices and adapt style across formats, audiences and channels. Strong research and synthesis skills; able to gather insights from multiple sources and shape them into a coherent point of view.Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently. Collaborative working style with the ability to build effective relationships across global, distributed teams. Self‑motivated and able to work independently while maintaining alignment to broader team priorities.Strong attention to detail and commitment to content quality. Benefits
