Are you tech savvy with an interest in IT or Geology? Our Client based in the southern suburbs is seeking a Data Quality Controller to join their well-established organisation. This position involves working in the data processing department ensuring the quality, accuracy and reliability of data is collected and managed from airborne surveys.Requirements: Matric Graduate, minimum diploma or equivalent, with an interest in IT or geology advantageous Ability to effectively manage data Proficiency in Excel Tech/IT enthusiast Keen eye for detail with a high level of attention to detail Passion for maintaining the highest standard Enjoys structure and routineGood Communication Skills and a keen team player Duties and Responsibilities: Meticulously scrutinizing data for abnormalities, or inconsistencies Daily maintain the highest standard of data with excellent attention to detail Effectively managing and organizing large volumes of geophysical dataManage file naming conventions, metadata management, and proper archiving Adhere daily to established quality control protocols Manage standardized checklists and procedures Ensure daily consistency and accuracy in data evaluation Collaborating with field crew to address and resolve quality-related concerns in a timely manner
