Transport Debtors&Creditors Controller, Cape Town

REQUIREMENTS

Matric, relevant qualifications highly advantageous Minimum 2-3 years debtors/creditors experience Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English Experience in a Logistics or Transport company ESSENTIAL Experience working on the DATATIM Transport management system ESSENTIAL Excellent accuracy and attention to detailExperience working on an accounting system similar to Pastel Own transport DUTIES Reporting to the Financial Manager Daily transactions on the system– DATATIM Receive and process purchase orders Generate tax invoice and forward to the client, via email or courier Ensure client receives all POD documentationDaily interaction with clients and suppliers Resolve Client queries Follow up on outstanding documents General finance administration Debtors and Creditor reconciliations Send statements to clients Load an allocate payments Phoning clients to follow up on debts
