Job Title: Maintenance Planner – Mining

Location: Gauteng, South Africa

Hire Resolve’s Leading Client are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team at our mining operation in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our mining equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance program for all mining equipment and facilities
– Coordinate with maintenance team to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities
– Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement
– Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components
– Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
– Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices

Qualifications and Experience:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance planning within the mining industry
– Strong knowledge of mining equipment and maintenance processes
– Proficiency in maintenance management software (. SAP, CMMS)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
