Debtors Adminisration Manager, Centurion

Our client based in Centurion is wanting to employ a Debtors Administration Manager

The purpose of the position is to take accountability for the administration and collection processes and procedures pertaining to cash management, reconciliation and the collection of various corporate debt.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 with Accounting as subject
• Managerial Diploma
• Accounting Certificate / Diploma
• 5 years experience with high volume bank reconciliation items
• 3 years leadership/management experience
• Knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act
• Knowledge of Debt Collections Act
• Knowledge of Medical Aid Act
• Knowledge of Banking Act
• Knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of Google Mail
• Knowledge of Power Point
• Computer skills: Use computer technology effectively
• Communication skills: Read, write and speak fluently in English and Afrikaans
• Financial Acumen: Applies financial data in an appropriate, effective and rational manner
• Presentation skills: Delivers a presentation effectively on a given topic to a group

ADVANTAGEOUS:

• Comm or related degree
• 1-3 years experience in Cell phone, Money Market or Retail industry etc.
• Knowledge of the Meditech system
• Knowledge of Knowledge of Road Accident Fund Act
• Knowledge of Compensation for Occupational Injuries and diseases Act
• LOA Protocol
• Training skills: Applies basic training techniques

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Debtors staff in line with company policies and procedures to ensure effective performance
• Manage the operations in order to ensure the effective functioning
• Compile reports in order to provide tools for management decision making
• Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of the company.
