Senior Developer, Centurion

Our client based in Centurion is looking for a Senior Developer

Purpose of Position:

• To develop new applications and to maintain and improve the Company's intranet and internet to ensure optimal functioning thereof

* * Must have (essential for this position): Cache / Ensemble development experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, create specifications and Develop new software on multi-platforms.
• Maintain systems (Statistical and all software) in order to ensure effective functioning and improvement thereof.
• Assist with the training of departmental staff in order to ensure a level of competence is upheld.
• Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of the company.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Programming diploma
• Valid South African Drivers license (Code EB)
• 4 + years post qualification experience working with most programming / web development tools.
• 3 + years using the Software Development Life Cycle to create software from Start to Finish, including Documentation
• Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
• Working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript/CSS
• Working knowledge of Cache
• Working knowledge of .NET C#
• Working knowledge of XML
• Working knowledge of SQL Server or Cache database
• Working knowledge of Web Services
• Working knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks – Jquery / EXTJS/ Bootstrap
• Knowledge of relational database and Web GUI
• Communication skills
• Numerical reasoning skills
• Computer skills

Advantageous:

• Programming degree
• On the Training or equivalent
• 2 + years experience managing workflow within a pathology environment
• Working knowledge of ASP.net
• Working knowledge of DHTML
• Working knowledge of Objective C (Apple iOS)
• Working knowledge of Android programming tools
• Working knowledge of PHP
• Project management skills
