Project Manager - Automotive OEM, Centurion, South Africa

Our Client, operating in the OEM Automotive Industry, is seeking to employ a Project Manager to their team based in Centurion, Gauteng.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics or operations management, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, and transportation management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of automotive products.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Manage and lead a team of logistics and warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports related to operations.
• Utilize logistics software and technology to streamline operations and improve tracking and reporting.
• Handle any operational issues or disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on service delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.
