Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Engineering Manager - Winders based in the, Gauteng Province. The key function of the role is the implementation and monitoring of the Maintenance strategy and procedures to ensure effective maintenance across all departments in the Mining division. To effectively manage and control the activities of the department to ensure that an effective service is rendered to other departments.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

•Mechanical GCC (Mines & Works)

•10 – 15 years’ experience in the Mining industry

•Training and/or suitable experience in Reliability Engineering principles and Condition Monitoring practices

•Experience must be mostly underground (winders, compressors, fridge plants, pumps, etc.)

•TMM experience will be advantageous

•Gold experience will be highly advantageous
