We are looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy Librarian & Digital Learning Support Officer to join our academic support team. This role blends traditional library services with modern digital learning and student administration support.

???? Key Responsibilities

Deliver training on referencing tools (EndNote, RefWorks), research methods, and academic writing Support postgraduate students and staff with research consultations Manage access to e-resources (databases, e-books, journals) Support LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle) and embed digital learning resources Assist with student administration (registration, records, class lists, results tracking) Provide training on digital tools, AI literacy, and plagiarism prevention Oversee circulation services and library technology Analyse and report on library usage and student engagement data Ensure compliance with higher education quality standards

???? Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) or Diploma in Library Science, IT, or related field Minimum 3 years’ experience in a library environment Experience with LMS platforms and student administration systems Strong MS Office, ILS, and CMS skills Knowledge of digital learning tools and AI in education (advantageous)
