Are you a Well Qualified and Experience Senior Safety Manager within the Mining Sector, looking for you next career move?

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Safety Manager based in Gauteng.

To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in technical field supported by Safety Management certificate/qualification.

•Grade 12 Certificate

•Mining Industry Experience is essential

Knowledge and Experience:

•8 – 10 years’ SHERQ experience

•Minimum of 5 years related to the mining industry.

•Knowledge in explosive handling and blasting operations in mines.

•Proven track record of high-level reporting and presenting to senior management

•Experience as lead investigator for SHERQ incidents

•Experience as lead auditor

•Demonstrated capability to negotiate and influence multiple stakeholders of internal and external origin, including regulators and community groups, at the executive and senior management level

•In-depth knowledge of OHSA and MHSA
