Job Description

One of our top clients within the mining sector are seeking highly experienced HSEQ Manager (Underground Mining) based in Gauteng.

To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

•Degree / National Diploma Safety Management or Degree / National Diploma Environmental Health/ Environmental

•Management sciences/ Occupational Health and Hygiene or equivalent.

•Affiliation in any HSE related institutions.

Knowledge and Experience:

•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Mining Industry (Underground)

•Senior management experience leading medium to large teams for a minimum of 3 years in HSEQ functions.

•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an operation or large capital project, including responsibility for budgets.

•Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated capability to negotiate and influence multiple stakeholders of internal and external origin, including regulators and community groups, at the executive and senior management level.

•Knowledge of industry applicable legislations and standards.

•Experience as a Lead Auditor (Internal/external).
