Duties&Responsibilities

ENVIRONMENT: OVERSEE the financial accounts by keeping track of, and reporting on financial transactions while supervising and guiding a Finance team by setting KPI’s which are managed by one-on-ones as the next Financial Manager sought by a dynamic Tech Company in Centurion. You will be expected to always strive to look for improvements in implementation plans on cashbook, AR and AP systems and processes. Candidates must be able to take on project work fromtime to time and ad hoc tasks. Assistance required with Annual Audits as well as Annual Financial Statements.DUTIES: Analyse the Age analysis for the company throughout the month. Manage the entire Finance team. Check all recons for payment submitted by the Financial Accountant before final sign off. Source suppliers and cost savings. Billing reviews and imports. Reconcile Suppliers and prepare payments where needed.Load payments on bank as well as new recipients and verify proof of banking details. Assist and manage the process in getting all details needed for BEE Certification and track expenditure. Reconcile and check credit card statements. Assist in preparation for Audit. Intercompany Schedules for the company– confirmations in group.Process journals and approve other journals. Ad-hoc projects. Assist with budgets. Ensure that all processes and procedures are improved and maintained. Cashflow forecasting. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications– Grade 12 / Matric Certificate. Qualified CA (SA) Experience/Skills – 5 Years' Financial Accounting and Management experience.At least 3 years’ experience managing or leading as Financial Manager team in a financial accounting environment. Pastel Evolution experience (preferable). Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). People management and leadership principles and practices. Understand financial risk factors and principles.Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Advantageous– ATTRIBUTES: Interpersonal and Relationship Management skills. Planning, organizing and coordination skills. Analytical. Numerical Reasoning. Attention to Detail.
