You will have the exciting opportunity to be part of the implementation of a new cost accounting function within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze costs, streamline processes, and drive efficiencies in the operations. This role offers a unique blend of strategic planning, financial analysis, and hands-on implementation.

Please note that this role may require occasional travel to various locations across the country. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential for this position. Duties:

Develop and implement cost accounting processes and procedures. Analyze cost data to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement. Collaborate with operations teams to monitor and control costs throughout the organization. Prepare and present cost reports and analysis to management.Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Provide recommendations to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability. Job Experience&Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12) BCom BCom Honours CIMA Experience:

Completed SAICA Articles. Solid 1-2 years’ experience with core understanding of cost management and financial reporting principles OR 5 years previous experience as a cost accountant, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry. Skills&Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
