ZaEng Consulting&Construction Engineers is seeking a Professional Construction Manager (PrCM) registered with SACPCMP to join our team for a site-based position in Pietermaritzburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and managing site operations to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all site construction activities in accordance with project specifications and contract requirements.

Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and professional teams to ensure efficient project execution.

Monitor programme, quality, and compliance with construction standards and health&safety regulations.

Provide progress reports, site documentation, and technical input to the project team and client.

Qualifications

Registered Professional Construction Manager (PrCM) with SACPCMP (mandatory).

Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction management on site.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, and project coordination.

Valid driver’s license and ability to work full-time on site in Pietermaritzburg.

Additional Skills

Strong leadership and site management capability.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including contractors and consultants.

Excellent reporting and communication skills.

Site-based role in Luvisi
