Role Security and Fraud Technology Specialist
Location Dundee (Hybrid)
Grade 13
Salary£ 64,000 – £ 80,000 + excellent benefits + Bonus
Key Responsibilities
Physical Security Protection: Develop and implement physical security measures to protect cash and other assets within ATMs.
Card Holder Fraud Prevention: Develop strategies and technologies to prevent cardholder fraud.
General Anti‑Fraud Devices: Innovate and deploy devices to detect and prevent various forms of fraud.
Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of ATM systems.
Compliance: Ensure all security measures comply with industry standards and regulations.
Innovation: Identify future fraud and criminal trends and assist in the development of technical roadmaps.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate security solutions into product designs.
Training: Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on security best practices.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in a security‑conscious engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of physical security, encryption technologies, and fraud prevention.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ATM security systems.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to ATM security including EN and UL.
Knowledge of PCI standards and encryption methodologies.
Knowledge of bank and credit card schemes.
