Operations Controller, Durban

Qualifications:

• Matric
• Logistics Management / Operations or other related qualification
• Must have at least 5 - 10 years' experience within the Logistics industry
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with tracking systems

Role and Responsibilities:

• Fleet management and monitoring, ensuring that each vehicle reaches it's production and diesel targets.
• Constant communication with drivers and team.
• Administering and controlling the daily attendance of drivers.
• Assisting in the capturing of data .
• Ensuring production and diesel targets are met.
• Ensuring the fleet management system is monitored and managed.
• Communication with drivers and team.
• Ensuring data is captured accurately.
• Ensuring documents and reports are submitted accurately and as per deadlines.
• Ensuring vehicle maintenance issues are communicated.
• Ensuring vehicle services are planned and scheduled.
• All other related duties
