Manage the entry and processing of financial information in reporting systems Preparation of management accounts including all associated reconciliations Manage the external audit process Support the compilation of Annual Financial Statements Support the budgeting process Monthly and annual SARS returns Reporting to funders

Leadership Responsibilities

Manage the finance team to ensure that team objectives are achieved whilst driving continuous improvement and development of individuals in the team

Ensure that team objectives and measures of success are appropriate and in place Monitor individual progress and support where necessary Succession planning and talent development Working with the Finance Specialist and the extended Leadership Team on finance and organisational projects

Risk Management and Strategic Finance

Proactive financial risk mitigation and initiatives to drive strategic decision making

Process review and risk control assessments Financial modelling Business efficiency enhancement projects Tax reviews Financial and cost analysis Ad-hoc project related work

What you'll need

Postgraduate degree in accounting, CA(SA), or equivalent At least 3 years' post articles experience in financial management. Experience with a financial services provider is preferred
