Health Safety and Environment coordinator, Durban

Description

Actively participate in the development, implementation and review of the Safety Management System (SMS), goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), standards, policies, procedure, programs and training.
Develop and maintain an effective Contractor Safety Management as per SATORP SMS requirements (example; Safety Plans, Training programs, Qualification, Hazard Identification Plans (HIPs), etc...).
Develop annual safety schedules (Emergency drills, Management safety walkthroughs, and quarterly safety inspections).Coordinate and implement annual HSE planning and performance measurement and reporting
Develop and maintain contemporary and compliant HSE policies, procedures, and other resources
Drive process improvement initiatives in support of HSE performance
Monitor, maintain and report on contractor safety and compliance utilizing SATORP systems
Coordinate the HSE incident record, reporting and investigation framework and provide regular reports to management
Coordinate internal / external HSE audits and develop plans to action Coordinate statistical analysis and reports of HSE performance
