Workshop Supervisor/ Foreman, Durban

Our Industrial Sandblasting & Coating Client, is currently looking for a Workshop Supervisor/ Foreman to join their team based in Mobeni, Durban

Remuneration: R12 000 -R15 000 (No benefits included.)

Working Hours:

• Working days is Monday to Friday, Saturday is required when work permits
• Hours is from 7h00 to 16h30 Monday to Thursday and Friday to 14h00. Normal hours

Requirements:

• Must have 3-5 years experience as a Workshop Supervisor/ Foreman
• Must be able to handle a small workshop of 15 employees.
• Would prefer if he has some experience of industrial spraypainting and gritblasting. (Advantageous)
• Certificates of any industrial course will be good for the position, but not essential.
• Industrial workshop knowledge, will be an advantage.

Duties:

• Job cards to be completed,
• Jobs to be inspected on completion.
• Jobs to be allocated to correct worker
• Paint jobs to be inspected before sending to customer
• Movement of jobs to be controlled by foreman.
• Taking dft readings of the paint.
• Do the humidity test every day.
