Finance Accountant, Durban

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone fresh out of college with a BCom degree in Accounting or Finance, who is eager to kick-start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and data entry

• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting

• Assist with reconciliations and general ledger maintenance

• Prepare basic financial statements and reports

• Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Fresh graduates are welcome

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good numerical and analytical skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)

• Strong communication and organisational skills
