Stores, Purchasing D Orsogna Limited Mickleham, Melbourne VIC Purchasing, Procurement and Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics) Full time Stores/purchasing role Full Time Role Day Shift D'Orsogna Ltd has been established for over 75 years and is a recognised market leader manufacturing quality continental gourmet meats, hams, bacon and smallgoods. An opportunity has arisen to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced hands on Stores person to work collaboratively with the purchasing and stores team. This position will report to the Purchasing and stores Supervisor the position will entail supporting direct supervisor to meet the following requirements; Forklift driving so ideal candidate has a current LF License with high reach experience General warehouse/stores duties including manual handling of dry goods Assist with stock control and preparation of orders. Truck unloading activities QA and safety form completions Other activities as directed that you have the skills and training to perform. In addition will need to possess the following attributes:- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the Company. Ability to manage and problem solve logistics and warehouse issues in a professional manner. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationship with key stakeholders. Ability to manage and lead a team effectively to achieve company requirements. Be flexible in their working hours and days to meet business requirements. This may require weekend work as needed. Be prepared to help out the team as needed. Attention to detail to avoid critical errors. Skills/education Minimum 2-3 years experience in a just in time (FMCG) environment desirable Computer skills The successful applicant will need to be a permanent resident with full work rights.
