Trainee Veterinary Nurse Black Rock Animal Hospital Black Rock, Melbourne VIC Veterinary Services & Animal Welfare (Farming, Animals & Conservation) Part time Low application volume We are looking for a trainee veterinary nurse for a permanent part-time position located in Bayside, Melbourne. This position is open to a trainee who would like to study their Cert IV in veterinary nursing. Some experience would be advantageous, but you will be considered even if your experience is minimal. The position would require 2-3 shifts a week. Having flexibility on days that can be worked and the ability to cover sick and annual leave once capable to do so is favourable. We are looking for someone willing to work hard, has initiative, works independently and therefore can work as the sole nurse once trained and be confident to do so. A person who is caring and kind, who loves to cuddle a puppy or kitten, but also encourages and cares for the nervous oldies that need extra encouragement to take a treat. We like our clients to have confidence in their veterinary clinic and feel that their pet is important to us. This starts with the person at reception or answering the phone. So, someone who communicates well is essential. At Black Rock Animal Hospital, we can be very busy, and therefore it is very important to have someone who works well in a team; we look after each other so we can provide the best care to our patients.
