Permanent position Full time (80 hours per fortnight + flexible monthly ADO) Grade 2 Physiotherapist, Year 1-4 (VB1-VB4) Located at Caulfield Hospital Great staff benefits! 5 weeks annual leave and salary packaging The Departments Alfred Care Group Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP) Comprises Home Based, Centre Based, and Falls Clinic services. The Community Rehabilitation Program provides a comprehensive client-centred rehabilitation service that is responsive to the needs of the community. Eligible clients are assisted by the interdisciplinary team to achieve their goals following an illness or injury. The multi-disciplinary team comprises Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Social Workers, Allied Health Assistants, a Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation Consultant, Pharmacist, Dietitians, a Clinical Psychologist and a Neuropsychologist. Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit (CRU) Provides programs of education and/or supervised exercise for patients with coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, other cardiac conditions or those who require risk factor modification. The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehabilitation team. As a Physiotherapist within the Community Rehabilitation Program, you will provide excellent client-centred rehabilitation services to clients both in their homes and at our rehabilitation centre. The clinical caseload is varied creating a fantastic opportunity to develop expertise in working with a broad range of clinical diagnoses. The successful candidate will have access to a range of professional development activities. As part of this role, the Physiotherapist will also be required to work 16 hours per week in Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit (CRU) where they will work closely with the CRU Grade 3 Physiotherapist to provide high quality cardiac rehabilitation services to clients.
