Our model is flexible and clinician-friendly, combining telehealth with community-based services to create accessible and meaningful therapy. The Opportunity We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team as a subcontractor, supporting clients in Melbourne’s Northern and Eastern Suburbs. This role is designed to be therapy-focused, not report-heavy. You will have the flexibility to choose the type of work you enjoy, the number of clients you take on, and how your week is structured. Whether you prefer predominantly therapy, a mix of therapy and assessments, or want to build your caseload gradually, this role can be tailored to you. Key Responsibilities Deliver occupational therapy interventions across home, community, and telehealth settings Support participants to build independence in daily living, routines, and community participation Assist with goal setting, skill development, and emotional regulation strategies Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain clear and professional clinical documentation Optional (based on your preference): Complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) and other NDIS-related reports What We Offer Flexible caseload to choose how many clients you work with Control over your schedule to work the days and times that suit you Therapy-focused role with the option to minimise or avoid report writing Work from home (telehealth) + community-based sessions Supervision available for early career therapists or those wanting support Supportive and responsive team environment Opportunity to work across a variety of presentations and age groups About You Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration Experience working with adults and/or paediatric clients Confident working independently in community settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for practical, client-centred therapy Highly Regarded Experience Assistive Technology (AT) Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Mental Health Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) ADHD NDIS Legislation experience Requirements Current AHPRA registration Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Screening Check Why Join Brave Minds?
