Stock Auditor, Durban

Our client in retail is currently recruiting for a Stock Auditor. This role is to ensure accurate stock records across stores by conducting audits, investigating variances, and supporting effective stock control and reporting. Reducing stock losses.

Key Responsibilities

Travel out to site/stores with an estimated stay over period of 2 weeks per month.

Ensure that stock count is completed in the stores as requested by HOD (within time frame).

Ensure stock is captured accurately when performing counts (audit checks done for verification).

Perform investigations using hanger counts as a reference when doing stock audits.

Ensure that variances are investigated and all amendments are made during the count.

Verify that Operations and Audit Manager are informed of the variance and sign off with all parties (request feedback for controls if needed)

Perform supervised counts in stores requested by HOD

Admin reporting

Maintain stock take equipment

Personal Attributes

Matric

Finance degree or diploma (Advantageous)

Valid Driver License and own reliable vehicle

Stock count experience (essential)

Worked in retail environment (essential)

Knowledge of MS Office
