Overview

Purpose of the Job The Industrial Engineer will design, implement and improve processes to enhance quality, efficiency and sustainability. A key focus of the role will be to analyse existing processes, identify area of improvement and implement changes to optimise operations. The role analyses workflows, develop process improvements and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Qualifications&Experience

Matric (Grade 12) Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Industrial Engineering or other relevant qualification At least 5 years relevant experience in similar position and/or level, in Automotive Manufacturing Advantageous– Press and Weld Background Technical Pre-Requisite

SAP S/4Hana software knowledge to design, simulate and analyse processes Strong engineering fundamentals Experience with Production Processes and quality Ability to design and implement control systems to regulate process parameters Safety Knowledge Ability to run simulations and analyse test data.ISO 9000, ISO14000 /OHS Standards Knowledge of Microsoft applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel Participate in projects where required. Process Design and Optimisation - Develop new processes and improve existing process to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality. Process Improvement– Identify areas for improvement in existing processed, implementing changes and monitoring the effectiveness Process Analysis – Study existing process to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas of improvement.Quality Control– ensures processes meet quality standards, through testing, analysis and the implementation of quality control measures Process Documentation – Creating and maintaining documentation for all processes, including work instructions and SOP’s Process Implementation – Oversee the implementation of new or modified processes, ensuring they meet safety standardsTrouble Shooting and Problem Solving– Address technical issues and implement solutions to ensure process stability and reliability. Data Analysis – ability to analyse data, identify trends, optimise performance and improve decision making. Collaborate with cross functional teams, including production, maintenance and quality tocontrol and achieve process goals.Continuous Improvement– Identify opportunities for process improvement and strategies to enhance efficiency and performance Safety – Prioritising safety in all aspects of process design and operation, ensuring safety that processes are safe for employees Lead SAP S/4Hana related projects, upgrades, and enhancements.SAP S/4Hana Operations

Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot SAP S/4Hana modules (MM, PP, SD, QM, FI/CO) including master data. Provide SAP S/4Hana end-user support, training, and documentation. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards and internal Bill of Materials. Collaborate with production, logistics, procurement, quality, engineering and finance teams to streamline workflows using SAP S/4Hana.Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within manufacturing processes. Implement best practices for inventory management, material planning, and shop floor control. Facilitate and support stock count operations within the plant. Support rollout of new modules or functionalities on SAP S/4HanaGenerate reports and dashboards for production efficiency, cost tracking, and supply chain visibility. Support audits and regulatory requirements by maintaining proper SAP S/4Hana documentation. Updating pricing on SAP S/4 Hana for vendors and customers. Support with asset tracking and asset management using digital enhancements.
