We are seeking a highly competent and proactive Senior Recruitment Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment delivery within a fast-paced BPO environment.
This role will partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with business objectives, while ensuring a seamless, high-quality candidate experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, pipeline development, process optimisation, and compliance, while continuously improving recruitment outcomes through data-driven insights and best practices.
Purpose of the Role
Partner with Recruitment Managers and business stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and align hiring strategies with business goals
Build and maintain a strong, proactive talent pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs
Source, attract, and engage top talent across multiple channels, with a focus on diversity and inclusion
Manage and execute a thorough, high-quality interview and assessment process
Facilitate and negotiate offers, ensuring competitive and fair outcomes
Manage recruitment budgets effectively, optimising spend and delivery
Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition&Delivery
Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
Deliver high-volume recruitment outcomes within a BPO environment
Ensure a structured and effective selection process aligned to role requirements
Conduct post-placement follow-ups to enhance candidate experience and retention
Candidate Experience&Engagement
Provide a seamless, engaging, and professional candidate journey
Maintain clear, consistent, and transparent communication throughout the recruitment process
Personalise communication and support based on candidate needs
Address and resolve candidate concerns efficiently
Gather and apply feedback to continuously improve the recruitment experience
Onboarding&Integration
Collaborate with onboarding teams to ensure a smooth and engaging transition for new hires
Contribute to creating a positive onboarding experience aligned to company culture and values
Tailor onboarding support to specific roles and individual requirements
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with hiring managers and cross-functional teams
Provide market insights, talent trends, and recruitment guidance
Ensure alignment between recruitment delivery and business objectives
Process Improvement&Innovation
Continuously evaluate and optimise recruitment processes to improve efficiency and quality of hires
Leverage recruitment technologies to streamline workflows and enhance delivery
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and labour market developments
Drive innovation in sourcing strategies and recruitment practices
Compliance&Governance
Ensure adherence to employment legislation and recruitment best practices
Maintain compliance with internal policies and ethical standards
Ensure secure handling and storage of candidate data
Identify and address compliance risks throughout the hiring process
Reporting&Performance Management
Track and report on recruitment activity, pipeline, and performance metrics
Use data insights to improve recruitment outcomes and decision-making
Professional Development&Networking
Engage in ongoing training and professional development
Build and maintain strong industry networks and talent communities
Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
Minimum Requirements Qualifications
Matric / NQF Level 4 qualification (minimum)
Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment
Preferably 4+ years’ experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on high-volume recruitment
BPO recruitment experience is essential

Proficiency in recruitment tools, systems, and technologies

They will demonstrate the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, working effectively across virtual and cross‑functional teams. The successful individual will have a strong understanding of the broader talent landscape while maintaining a sharp focus on operational delivery.
This role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, and capable of making sound decisions independently, while contributing to a high-performance, collaborative team environment.
Working Conditions: Full-time, Monday to Friday (with occasional after‑hours or weekend work as needed).
Office-based role in Umhlanga BPO, with occasional travel for recruitment events if required.
