Blue Projects’ Project Delivery&Engineering team is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team in Durban, South Africa.

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to support our continued strategic growth in Durban. This role focuses on architectural design, BIM model management, multidisciplinary coordination, and producing high‑quality technical documentation for projects across commercial, education, and industrial sectors.

Job Description

Develop architectural designs and construction documentation using Revit and BIM.

Lead and manage BIM models, 3D coordination, schedules, and technical documentation.

Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients throughout all project phases.

Support and mentor junior team members.

Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of best practices and new technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.

4-year PostGraduate Diploma with extensive experience is acceptable.

Solid experience as an Architectural Technologist, preferably on large‑scale projects.

Advanced proficiency in Revit and cloud based BIM collaboration and document control, with a strong understanding of BIM workflows.

Experience working within large, multidisciplinary project teams.

Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Detail‑oriented, solution‑driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
