The available opportunities may include roles across: Accounting / Assistant Accounting Accounts Administration Payroll and AP / AR Management Accounting support Finance and accounting coordination Broader corporate administration involving accounting duties These roles are suited to candidates who have already built a solid foundation in accounting or finance and can take responsibility for day-to-day accounting tasks with accuracy, maturity and good judgement. This is not an entry-level advertisement. We are especially interested in candidates who have around 4–5 years or more of practical accounting, finance or accounts administration experience. What Your Next Role May Look Like: Depending on your experience and the client’s needs, your responsibilities may include: Managing or supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable Preparing invoices, payments, reconciliations and journals Assisting with month-end and reporting processes Supporting payroll, superannuation and employee-related payments Working with accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar Communicating with internal teams, external accountants, suppliers and clients Supporting Japanese-speaking stakeholders where required Assisting with broader administration, reporting and business support tasks Some roles may be hands-on accounting positions within small to mid-sized businesses, while others may offer broader exposure across finance, operations and corporate administration. What we are looking for: We are looking for candidates who can bring more than just basic bookkeeping knowledge. Ideally, you will have: Around 3–5 years or more of practical accounting, finance or accounts administration experience Strong understanding of day-to-day accounting processes Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, payments, journals and month-end support Good Excel skills and confidence working with numbers Business-level English communication skills Japanese language skills, ideally business level or above A careful, reliable and mature working style The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks Current work rights in Australia Accounting qualifications such as a degree in accounting, CPA / CA progress, or relevant local study will be highly regarded, but practical capability is the most important point. Employment Type: Permanent, contract and casual opportunities may be available depending on the position. Salary Range: Salary will vary depending on the role, location and level of experience. As a general guide, current opportunities may range from approximately: 70,000 to 120,000 + Super Senior or more specialised roles may be discussed separately.
