Sales Merchandiser, Durban

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts while actively seeking opportunities to open new retail doors. Oversee product assortments and manage budgets effectively to maximize sales performance. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure alignment with seasonal buying calendars and market trends. Implement merchandising strategies that drive sales growth and enhance product visibility. Utilize high-level sales skills and a keen commercial eye to identify market opportunities and develop tailored solutions for clients. Travel locally and internationally as required to meet with clients and attend trade shows or industry events. Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising or buying, with a strong focus on managing key accounts. A relevant degree or diploma in business, marketing, or a related field is advantageous. Proven track record of success in dealing with blue-chip retailers. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
