Finance Manager, Durban

Hire Resolve is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager for our client. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the dynamic finance team at their studios in Umhlanga. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing the financial management functions of the business unit. Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely financial records. Prepare and review monthly management accounts, business review presentations, and detailed commentary on financial performance. Manage the preparation and review of quarterly financial forecasts, annual budgets, and financial reports, including compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and manage the procure-to-pay process. Oversee treasury functions, including payments, collections, and maintaining banking relationships. Manage inter-company transactions, fixed assets, and capital expenditure. Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a positive work culture and managing performance. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including tax filings and BBBEE scorecard components. Support strategic planning and implementation, providing financial insights and analysis. Interface with management to align financial strategies with organizational goals. Manage external and internal audits and ensure robust internal financial controls.

Requirements:

CA or equivalent qualification. Strong technical accounting background with at least 3 years in similar Senior Financial Management roles. Computer literate with excellent writing and communication skills. Goal/task prioritization. Positive outlook and can-do attitude. Strong track record as a team player and leader. Passion for radio.
