Prominent Chemical  company seeks a professional executive,  to oversee and manage the full financial function of the business and to drive day-to-day financial outputs , financial analysis, reporting, monitoring of budgets, profitability and cost controls, pricing, statutory tax functions; as well as playing a pivotal role in design, implementation and managing of the business strategy.

Education and experience required:

 

Appropriate Tertiary Qualification

 

• • • BCom / BA Accounting with CTA / PGDA or Equivalent.
    • CA / CIMA – would be an advantage.
    • 5 – 10 years of accounting experience (essential).
    • 2 plus years management experience (essential) with exposure to commercial and strategic management would be an advantage.
    • Experience in coaching and developing teams.
    • Experience in working with manufacturing environment, with the ability to establish relationships with stakeholders.
    • Ability to interact with confidence at all levels in the organisation.
    • Well developed communication skills.
    • Advanced Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
  •  Understanding of IT and IT related aspects with the aim to optimise   administration/finance processes and resources.
    • Proven track record in leadership roles.
    • Effective, goal directed management of subordinates and staff.
    • Interpretation and analysis of business information, statistics, trends and ability to provide suggestions and solutions for discussion with the executive team.
    • Commercial and strategic support for the executive team.
