Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Location: Durban, South Africa

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious graduate mechanical engineer to join our client’s team in Durban. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the field of mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities:

Assist senior engineers in designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components Perform analyses and calculations to ensure the safety and efficiency of mechanical designs Collaborate with other engineers and team members to solve engineering problems and meet project deadlines Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution Stay current on industry trends and best practices in mechanical engineering Complete projects, studies and simulations to support technical operations team

Qualifications:

BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or a related field Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Exposure to maintenance operations or manufacturing environment
