Senior Safari&Experiences Operations Lead, Durban

Ghost Mountain Inn is looking for an experienced Safari&Experiences Manager to join our team in the heart of Zululand.

This is a senior operational leadership role within our hotel management team and is ideally suited to someone who combines strong hospitality and guest experience skills with safari operations, conservation awareness and team leadership.

The successful candidate will oversee:

Safari and guest experience operations

Boat and vehicle management

Guide leadership and training

Development of new guest experiences

Relationships with key stakeholders.

Sustainability, conservation and community initiatives linked to the Ndumu Charitable Foundation

This is not purely a guiding position. The role requires operational management capability, strong organisational skills and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

Essential requirements:

Previous experience managing safari, lodge or experiential tourism operations

Strong leadership and team management ability

Hospitality and guest experience focus

Valid driver's licence with PDP

Strong operational and organisational capability

Highly advantageous:

Skipper’s licence and boating experience

FGASA qualification or guiding background

Experience within boutique hospitality environments

Knowledge of Zululand reserves and conservation networks
