Warehouse Manager

Maharani Tiles&Bathrooms is a long established tile and bathroom retailer currently restructuring its warehouse and logistics operations to improve stock control, dispatch accuracy, and operational efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced, hands on Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of our central warehouse, which services multiple retail branches and direct customer deliveries.

This role is critical to ensuring discipline, accuracy, and consistency across all warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities

Full responsibility for the day to day management of the warehouse

Stock control and accuracy across all product categories

Manage bin locations according to stock categories

Placing and calling supplier orders, including local and overseas suppliers

Monitoring goods on order and identifying back orders, with a focus on overseas shipments

Performing final dispatch checks to ensure correct items, quantities, and condition before delivery or collection

Managing returns, damages, and authorizations, with accurate documentation and system updates

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

Conducting regular stock counts, cycle counts, and full stock takes

Opening and closing of the warehouse, including security and staff readiness

Ensuring all warehouse procedures and processes are followed consistently

Working closely with sales and admin teams to support efficient order fulfilment and realistic customer commitments

Identifying inefficiencies and contributing to continuous operational improvement

Requirements

Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution management role

Strong stock control and organizational skills

Experience managing supplier orders and goods in transit

Comfortable working with ERP or stock management systems

Hands on, disciplined, and detail oriented approach

Ability to lead by example and enforce procedures consistently

Good communication and coordination skills
