Purpose of the Job: 
To prepare accurate and compliant annual financial statements, including disclosures, tax computations, and trial balances for a portfolio of clients.

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting
  • Completed or progressing through SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent articles programme.
  • Knowledge of income tax computations, deferred tax, and tax-to-financials reconciliation.
  • Audit experience advantageous.
  • Proficiency in financial statement compilation software and accounting systems such as Xero, Pastel, or Eureka.
  • CaseWare or equivalent software experience is advantageous.
  • CA(SA) articles completed is considered an added advantage.


Technical Competencies & Experience:
  • Prepare accurate and compliant annual financial statements for a portfolio of clients.
  • Apply correct accounting standards, disclosures, and tax computations for different entity types.
  • Build, reconcile, and review trial balances.
  • Support independent review engagements and maintain complete supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with monthly accounting teams, tax departments, and supervisors to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and explain financial matters in clear, simple terms.
