Description
Leading manufacturing company in the edible oil industry is seeking for a qualified, trade-tested electrician to join their team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery and equipment in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
  • Conduct preventative maintenance routines to ensure longevity and efficient operations of electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and diagnostic equipment
  • Regularly inspect electrical systems, circuits and equipment to identify potential hazards or malfunctions
  • Report any electrical problems, safety concerns or potential risks to the Maintenance Manager or relevant personnel
  • Adhere to all safety protocols. procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal electrical codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production personnel to ensure seamless operations
  • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies or breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment
  • Knowledge of PLC
  • Light and heavy current
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Trade Tested Electrician (Red Seal)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in FMCG
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with vsd or vfd

  • Strong Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and tools
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to details and precision to in workmanship
