Sales Development Representative (SDR) About the role The SDR is accountable for the prospecting, connecting, and qualifying stages of the sales process, with the primary objective of booking qualified sales appointments for inside (telesales) and outside (field sales) conversion teams.

What you will be doing Prospecting

Conduct outbound telemarketing and email activities toward targeted geographic areas and industry verticals.

Research and expand the prospect list using in-house tools and resources such as LinkedIn, Meta, Google Maps, and other methods.

Continuously improve prospecting methods and tactics for connecting and engaging with potential customers.

Profile strategic accounts, identify decision makers, research and obtain business requirements, and prepare and present solutions to start the sales cycle.

Organize and hold group demos, webinars, and live seminars to warm leads and lead to sales demo bookings.

Actively organize and participate in relevant trade shows and events that build a prospect pipeline.

Connecting&Qualifying

Perform initial needs assessment and identify prospects' pain points to determine how Yoco's solutions could address those needs.

Develop detailed industry and product knowledge and acumen to position Yoco's value proposition across vertical segments.

Qualify prospects to ensure segment fit and set up appointments with inside or outside sales teams.

Reschedule/ follow up with prospects if meetings do not occur.

Maintain accurate records of all activities in CRM and promote database cleanup and hygiene through regular maintenance.

Stay updated on current marketplace trends, pricing, products, and new technologies, acting as an insight point for marketing and sales teams.

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to streamline the end-to-end sales cycle and improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

About you

Must have 2-5 years of SDR, sales, or support experience.

Hands‑on experience with multiple customer engagement techniques.

Understand the fundamentals of turning an unengaged prospect into a high‑value opportunity.

Self‑starter with a track record of credible achievements.

Knowledge of the payments industry and understanding of software and hardware functionality and client needs in various verticals.

Customer‑centric individual with a passion for brand and business development.

Tech‑savvy with the ability to rapidly pick up and apply product knowledge.

Strong customer engagement, presentation, and communication skills.

A dynamic hunter personality with a drive to reach decision makers.

Team‑oriented with the ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.

Experience with any CRM solution.
