JOB TITLE: PROFESSIONAL NURSE– PAEDIATRIC WARD

Purpose of position: To provide age‑appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

Key Performance Areas

Practice within the scope of practice as a Registered Nurse.

Comply with hospital policies and regulations.

Possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Provide safe, quality patient care in the ward.

Minimum Requirements (Educational Qualifications&Experience)

Grade 12.

Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse.

Preferably two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse within a hospital setting.

Prepared to do shift work (night shift / day shift).

Skills (Practical&Technical)

Excellent telephone skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.

Excellent observation skills.
