Marketing, Admissions&Events Coordinator The Deutsche Schule Durban is a co-educational primary school situated in Cowies Hill, Durban. It caters for the educational needs of children ranging from Kindergarten (18 months and older) to Grade 7. The medium of instruction is in GERMAN from Kindergarten up to and including Grade 4. The school is seeking a creative, dynamic, and results-driven professional to join its team as a Marketing, Admissions&Events Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, skilled in communication, and motivated to actively grow school enrolment while enhancing the school’s public image and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to promote the school and increase enrolments
Manage the admissions process, including handling enquiries, school tours, and follow-ups with prospective families
Plan and coordinate school events, open days, and community outreach initiatives
Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, prospective families, and the wider community
Monitor enrolment trends and provide strategies to meet growth targets
Requirements
Proven experience in marketing, communications, or admissions (education sector preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
Creative thinker with a proactive and energetic approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms
