The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 10 years post-article experience in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial performance and growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Financial Reporting:

Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company's assets.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Cost Management:

Monitor and control costs to optimize financial performance. Implement cost-saving initiatives and improve operational efficiencies.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the companys long‑term goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications and Skills

Certified Chartered Accountant (CASA):

Must be a registered Chartered Accountant in South Africa.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years post-article experience in financial management roles.

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and corporate finance principles.

Analytical Skills:

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Leadership:

Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing finance teams.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.

Technology Proficiency:
